Firecracker 5K - July 4, 2006

Hot dog!
Twenty-three Fishies (including closely-related species) at this morning's Firecracker 5k in Dunstable. That's over 16% of the entire field! (I hope I didn't miss anyone; otherwise it's even more!)
And that doesn't count those who came to cheer: Thanks Jim Podolske, Jim Ray, Jim Kurdzo, and a few others not named Jim!
It was a sea of blue as we swarmed Larter Field in our dashing new uniforms. And at the end of it all, it was like an outgoing tide sweeping away the hardware: Sue Hoxie, Steve O'Brien (the younger), Brian Reeves, Kayla Reeves, Sandra Lanier and Ing Thaxter all had their names posted on the Winner's Page.
There's a very large group photo in Sue H.'s camera, very likely the largest school of Fishies ever assembled in one place where no beer was being served. Please send it out once it's downloaded, Sue!
